Brand identity

An In-House Behemouth

When a fast-growing company reaches a certain scale, brand consistency becomes more than just "nice to have", it becomes mission-critical. At Invoca, we had passionate teams creating content across every touchpoint, but without unified guidelines, our brand voice was getting diluted in translation.

This project transformed how Invoca shows up in the world, creating a comprehensive visual foundation that empowers every team member to be a brand ambassador while maintaining the integrity and recognition our company deserves.

The Problem

Invoca had grown rapidly, but our brand assets hadn't kept pace. We were operating with basic press release kits containing only logo files and minimal typography usage guidelines. Without comprehensive brand standards, teams across the organization were making inconsistent design decisions, leading to a fragmented brand experience that weakened our market presence and slowed down our go-to-market efforts.

The Strategy

I developed a comprehensive visual guideline system covering logo usage, color palettes, typography, and template standards across all touchpoints, from Google Slides to digital ads. The guidelines were designed to be both thorough and accessible, empowering all Invocans to create on-brand materials with confidence.

The Outcome

Brand recognizability and equiping our go-to-market team

Phase 1 — Foundation & Research

Conducted comprehensive brand audit analyzing logo applications, color accessibility standards, and typography hierarchy. Established core visual principles and spacing rules that would serve as the foundation for all future brand applications.

Phase 2 — Visual Language Development

Defined supporting design elements including illustration style, iconography, graphic treatments, and overall visual tone. Created a cohesive visual language that extends the brand personality across all touchpoints while maintaining flexibility for diverse content needs.

Phase 3 — Template Ecosystem Creation

Built a comprehensive library of user-friendly templates optimized for maximum design efficiency. Delivered ready-to-use assets for Google Slides, one-pagers, display ads, video assets, and blog graphics, plus a robust Figma design system for scalable design workflows.

Phase 4 — Launch & Adoption

Orchestrated company-wide rollout with training sessions and clear implementation guidelines. Ensured smooth adoption across all teams while establishing ongoing governance to maintain brand consistency and template quality.
